It started the perfect day weather wise, we thought we were going to have wall-to-wall sunshine, but as the morning went on it got cloudy and then it rained. We went from Pinchinthorpe old railway station, up towards Roseberry Topping but before we reached Roseberry we headed of up to the top of the woods. Then turned away from Roseberry and continued along the edge of the woods and the moor (meeting plenty of cyclists and unfortunately a quad biker which was making a lot of noise and was messing up the paths) until we reached Hutton Village, then we went back along the old railway line to the start. Ben had a wonderful time in the snow. Throwing snowballs at his Grandad and myself. He also enjoyed walking in all the ruts in the path that were full of snow. He also kept pinching his Grandads walking stick and kept on prodding and poking everything he could. It was a joy to watch him enjoying himself so much.
